ATOMUS F11 – ARSENIC REMOVAL CARTRIDGE
The ATOMUS® F11 Arsenic Removal Cartridges use a unique binary adsorption filtration media that was specifically developed for the simultaneous removal of both Arsenic III and V from potable water.
ATOMUS® F11 has a wider pH range than any other Arsenic adsorption media and is least impacted by competing ions like Silica, Phosphorus or Vanadium. This can significantly reduce pre-treatment requirements and overall water treatment system capital and operational costs.
ATOMUS PF8 – PFAS REMOVAL CARTRIDGE
ACS ATOMUS® PF8 features an NSF/ANSI 61 certified and proprietary filtration solution for the water treatment industry specifically designed to remove PFAS forever chemicals from drinking water. Extremely user friendly with no hazardous waste streams or bulk media replacement, ACS ATOMUS® PF8 is proven to remove PFAS to non-detect levels (<1 ng/L). Additionally, spent cartridges will be returned to Applied Cartridge Systems for PFAS extraction, destruction and media reuse—a first-of-its-kind technology and program!
ACS ATOMUS® PF8 provides molecular selectivity to both long- and short-chain PFAS (poly- and perfluoroalkyl) substances, whose adsorption is not affected by the co-presence of inorganic ions or other water characteristics like pH and TOC. The technology has greater than 25x adsorption capacity compared to GAC and IX resins that can be affected by biofouling. Like all adsorbents, suspended solids, iron and manganese should be removed in a pre-filtration step before water contact with PF8.
ATOMUS MD1 – SOLID STATE OXIDIZING MEDIA CARTRIDGE
ATOMUS® MD1 is a new proprietary filtration media solution for the water treatment industry specifically designed to simultaneously oxidize and adsorb organic and inorganic contaminants along with heavy metals that could be present in water. This patented and proprietary chemistry creates a unique oxidative media that does not add residuals to the water stream or create harmful disinfectant byproducts.
Unlike typical oxidation agents, such as ozone, chlorine, peroxide, citric acid, or bromine, ATOMUS® MD1 is a “solid state” oxidizing agent. Overall system simplification is paramount in the usage of ATOMUS® MD1, eliminating an Airdraw or standard control valve head, the use of salt, or oxidation agents for regeneration.
ATOMUS I22 – ARSENIC REMOVAL CARTRIDGE
ATOMUS® I22, also known as ISOLUX®, is our Arsenic Removal Cartridges which contain a specially formulated Zirconium adsorption powder media that removes both AsIII and AsV simultaneously, in less than 30 seconds. This fast uptake is exactly what makes the unique, no backwashing cartridge technology possible.
With a non-leachable Arsenic bond, ATOMUS® I22 cartridges are non-toxic and safe for landfill disposal. ATOMUS® I22 media is verified for 99% to non-detect Arsenic removal and has proven effective in applications with Arsenic concentrations up to 2,000 ppb.
